BUCKHALL, Va. -- A Buckhall-area man faces gun charges after police said he shot toward another man while trying to peg squirrels Thursday. The 34-year-old Manassas man was walking his dog in the 6100 block of River Forest Drive at 5:05 p.m. when another man -- later identified by authorities as Carl John Whipple -- shot a rifle in his direction, Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok said.
